Just 599 of the 599XX-based Italian supercars will be built, and the first one to arrive in LONDON TOWN (pictured here) will be the only local vehicle finished in the optional full matt black/white stripe paint combination. Ferrari says the GTO is more closely related to the 599XX experimental track car than the GTB production version, and as a result, performance of the 599 GTO is simply mind-bending.
The 5999cc V12 is taken straight from the 599XX (although it has been modified to comply with Euro V emissions standards) and produces 500kW of power at 8250rpm and 620Nm of torque at 6500rpm. That’s 44kW and 12Nm more than the standard 599 GTB Fiorano. Acceleration from 0-100km/h takes just 3.35 seconds (0.35secs quicker than the 599 GTB) and it has a top speed of 335km/h.
